CycleSoftware import settings

When you add CycleSoftware as an import source, the import task has a few optional settings. You can change them at any time from the CycleSoftware import task in your StoreLinkr portal; each change applies to the next import run.

Automatically map used products into the used category​

By default, used (second-hand) products keep the same categories as new products. Enable Automatically map used products into the used category to give every used product its own category, so you can present your second-hand range separately in your webshop.

When enabled, for each used product StoreLinkr:

  • replaces the main category with Tweedehands, and
  • keeps the sub categories but prefixes each level with Tweedehands so the names stay unique and never collide with your new products.

For example, a used bicycle in Fietsen > Mountainbikes is imported as Tweedehands > Tweedehands Mountainbikes. A new bicycle in the same category stays in Fietsen > Mountainbikes.

This setting only affects products CycleSoftware marks as used. New products are never touched.

Other import settings​

  • Import the advised price: also import the manufacturer's advised price (adviesprijs) alongside the sales price. This lets your webshop show a strikethrough "from" price when your sales price is lower.
  • Add supplier stock to store stock: count stock that is available at your supplier on top of your own store stock, so a product stays orderable while a delivery is on its way.
