Selling on MediaMarkt

MediaMarkt is one of the largest electronics retailers in Europe. Its marketplace lets third-party sellers offer electronics, household appliances, gaming, phones and accessories next to MediaMarkt's own range. The marketplace is active in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

MediaMarkt runs on Mirakl, so you connect it with the Mirakl integration. This page covers what is specific to MediaMarkt; the Mirakl setup guide describes every field in detail.

1. Get access to MediaMarkt​

Apply as a seller with MediaMarkt. Once approved, you log in to the MediaMarkt seller back office.

2. Create your API key​

  1. In the MediaMarkt seller back office, click on your name in the top right corner and open your user settings.
  2. Open the API Key tab, generate a key and copy it.

3. Connect MediaMarkt in StoreLinkr​

  1. Navigate to Sales Channels -> Marketplaces and click Connect a marketplace.
  2. Click the MediaMarkt / Saturn tile. Use the search field or the country filter to find it quickly.
  3. StoreLinkr fills in the marketplace URL for you (https://mediamarktsaturn.mirakl.net).
  4. Paste your API Key, choose the Country, the Product Selection and the Pricelist.
  5. Click Test connections and then Connect a marketplace.

Good to know​

  • Who can sell: Open to professional sellers, including retailers that sell other brands; you register with your company details and MediaMarkt contacts you to discuss the options.
  • MediaMarkt and Saturn share one Mirakl environment, so one API key covers the countries your seller account is active in. Choose the Country that matches the shop you want to sell in.
  • Products are offered on the MediaMarkt catalog by EAN. Products without an EAN, or that are not in the MediaMarkt catalog yet, are not listed.
  • New MediaMarkt orders are accepted automatically and imported once MediaMarkt releases the delivery address. Tracking codes go back to MediaMarkt when you ship.
  • Selling on several Mirakl marketplaces? Connect each one separately, each with its own API key, product selection and pricelist.
