Managing Multiple Inventory Locations in Shopify
If your business operates from multiple locations—such as a physical store and a separate warehouse—StoreLinkr can synchronize stock levels for each location individually in Shopify.
1. Configure Locations in StoreLinkr
StoreLinkr will only synchronize a location to Shopify if all address details are correctly filled in.
- In the StoreLinkr portal, go to Catalog > Inventory Locations.
- Verify that all your locations are listed and that their address information is complete.
- To sync the locations to Shopify, click Sync Now > Export in the top-right corner of the Inventory Locations screen.
2. Verify Locations in Shopify
Once synced, you should see the locations appearing in your Shopify admin.
- Log in to your Shopify admin panel.
- Click on the Settings gear icon (bottom-left).
- Select Locations.
- You should now see the locations that were exported from StoreLinkr.
3. Activate Location Visibility
For stock levels to be used for fulfillment and displayed correctly in your shop, you must activate the visibility and capabilities for each location.
- In the Shopify Locations settings, click on a location name to edit it.
- Ensure that "Fulfill online orders from this location" is checked if you want this stock to be available for sale online.
- You can also configure "Local pickup" if applicable.
- Click Save.
Displaying Stock per Location on Product Pages
By default, Shopify themes often show the total inventory across all locations. Displaying specific stock levels per location on your product pages usually requires custom Liquid code or a dedicated Shopify app.
If you need assistance with this, we recommend contacting a Shopify developer or your web agency.
