Which Skwirrel fields are used for WooCommerce?
StoreLinkr can import products from the Skwirrel PIM system. In the table below, we have described which fields we use to fill the catalog.
Do you want to use multiple languages in your webshop? Then also read the article about multilingualism with StoreLinkr.
Fields in Skwirrel in the product data:
| Skwirrel | StoreLinkr / WooCommerce |
|---|---|
| Product description (from Translations tab) | Title |
| WordPress product slug (URL) | Created by WordPress based on the product title |
| Product GTIN | EAN |
| Internal article number | SKU |
| Translations —> Long description | Short description |
| Translations —> Web text | Long description (HTML is allowed) |
| ETIM | Properties |
| Custom classes | Properties |
| Attachments | Becomes an 'Attachments' tab. The 'Title' field becomes the display name, with 'Filename' as a fallback. |
| Grouped products | Product variants |
| Categories | Categories (can also be overridden in the StoreLinkr portal) |
| ETIM Code | Properties |
| ETIM Description | Properties |
| Translations —> Product variant | Properties (variant) |
It is unfortunately not possible to adjust this mapping. If you happen to miss a field, please contact one of our product experts.
Using your own CDN URL for attachments
Attachments are stored on the StoreLinkr CDN. On the product page in the webshop, only a link to the relevant file is shown, and the files are not created within WooCommerce. We do this to save space on your hosting environment.
By default, you get a CDN URL from us that looks like this:
https://files.storelinkr.com/directory/filename.pdf
Whitelabel CDN Add-on
We offer an add-on to provide the CDN URL whitelabel on the public WooCommerce page. This is a paid add-on that you can activate in the StoreLinkr portal. We can configure the URL together with the customer. We also ensure that a valid SSL certificate is active.
An example of a whitelabel CDN URL:
https://files.yourcompany.com/directory/filename.pdf
