How to find your way around the portal

This page walks you through the parts of the StoreLinkr portal that you see on every screen: the menu on the left, the top bar, the way tables work, and the notices that can appear at the top of a page.

note

Some older accounts still use the classic setup and see a shorter or differently grouped menu. The menu described here is the current one.

The top bar

The top bar is always visible and has three parts:

  • Logo: click it to go back to the dashboard.
  • Project switcher: shows the name of the project you are working in. Click it to see all your projects, with a check mark at the current one. Pick another project to switch to it, or choose Manage Projects to open the projects overview.
  • Account menu: shows your initials and name. It has Account Settings (your name, language and time zone, see Account Profile) and Logout.

The menu

The menu on the left is grouped into sections. Sections with a small arrow open a submenu when you click them.

  • The page you are on is highlighted. When it sits in a submenu, that submenu opens by itself and its parent is marked, so you always see where you are.
  • Only one submenu is open at a time. Opening another one closes the previous one.

Day and night mode

The portal follows the light or dark setting of your device or browser. If your computer or phone switches to dark mode, the portal switches with it. There is no separate switch in the portal itself.

Using the portal on a phone

On a small screen the portal adapts itself:

  • The menu becomes a drawer. Tap the menu button at the left of the top bar to open it, and tap outside the drawer, or choose a page, to close it.
  • The top bar is compact: the project switcher and the account menu show only the avatar and open as full-width menus.
  • Page titles and buttons stack under each other, and the columns of a page move below each other.
  • Wide tables scroll sideways. Swipe the table left or right to see all columns.
  • The AI Assistant opens as a sheet over the page.

Tables and row actions

Overviews such as products, price lists, product selections and suppliers use tables with the same row actions on the right:

  • An Edit button for the most common action on that row.
  • A three-dot menu next to it with the other actions for the row, such as duplicate or delete. The menu also repeats Edit.

Both sit side by side on one line, also on narrow screens.

Notices at the top of a page

Pages can show a notice bar at the top when something needs your attention. The ones you can meet:

Some screens also show a short green, orange or red message after you save or run something. These disappear when you leave the page.

Getting help

Under Support at the bottom of the menu you find:

  • AI Assistant: ask questions about your own data and about the portal. You can also open it with the round button at the bottom right of every page. See AI Assistant.
  • Knowledge base: this help center.
  • Contact: the contact page of StoreLinkr, for questions you cannot solve yourself.

The portal has no separate chat bubble for support. Use the AI Assistant, the knowledge base or Contact.

Signing in and registering

The pages to sign in, register and reset your password are available in English, Dutch, German and French, including their error messages. Once you are in, you choose the language of the portal itself in your Account Profile.
