How to configure return settings

To start accepting returns through StoreLinkr, you must first configure your return portal and general business rules.

General Settings

Navigate to Returns > Settings to configure:

  • Portal Name: The title shown at the top of your return portal.
  • Language: The default language for your customers.
  • Return Window: The number of days after purchase that a return is allowed (e.g., 30 days).
  • Portal URL: Your unique link to the return portal. You can also set up a custom white-label URL (e.g., returns.yourstore.com) for a seamless brand experience.

Policy Rules

  • Allow Returns: Enable or disable the ability for customers to request a refund.
  • Allow Exchange: Enable the option for customers to swap an item for a different size or color.

Advanced Configuration

Use the sidebar in the settings page to manage more detailed aspects of your returns:

  • Design: Customize the look and feel of the portal (logo, colors).
  • Reasons: Define the list of reasons customers can select (e.g., "Too big", "Damaged").
  • Locations: Set up the return addresses where products should be sent.
  • Labels: Configure integrations with shipping carriers to provide pre-paid return labels.
