How to configure export filters
Export Filters are global rules that prevent specific products from being exported to any of your sales channels. Unlike Product Selections, which are used to include products in specific feeds, Export Filters are typically used to exclude products that don't meet your minimum quality or business requirements.
Why use Export Filters?
- Quality Control: Automatically block products without images or descriptions.
- Profitability: Exclude products where the margin is too low.
- Inventory Management: Prevent selling items that are out of stock.
- Business Rules: Exclude specific categories or "Used" products globally.
Creating an Export Filter
- Navigate to Selection & Markup > Export Filters.
- Click the Create Filter button.
- Select the Filter Type (e.g., Minimum Price, Stock Quantity, etc.).
- Enter the Filter Value.
- Save the filter.
Available Filter Types
| Filter Type | How it works |
|---|---|
| Minimum/Maximum Price | Filters out products outside of your desired price range. |
| Minimum Stock Value | Prevents exporting products with low inventory to avoid overselling. |
| Stock at Location | Filters based on stock availability at a specific warehouse. |
| Product Condition | Exclude "New" or "Used" items globally. |
| Minimum Images | Ensure only visually complete products are listed. |
| Minimum/Maximum Age | Filter products based on how many days they have been in your catalog. |
| Minimum Margin | Automatically block products that are not profitable enough. |
| Category Exclude | Block entire categories from being exported. |
Managing Filters
- Matches: StoreLinkr shows you how many products are currently being blocked by each filter.
- Dynamic Updates: If a product's data changes (e.g., stock is replenished), the filter will automatically stop blocking it.
- Deletion: Deleting a filter will immediately make those products available for export again (unless blocked by another filter).
