How to create product selections

Product Selections (also known as Export Selections) allow you to create dynamic groups of products based on specific rules. These selections are used to control exactly which products are sent to each sales channel.

Why use Product Selections?

Instead of exporting your entire catalog, you can use selections to:

  • Export only products with high margins.
  • Create a "Sale" feed for products with a specific price range.
  • Exclude products that are low on stock.
  • Filter products by age (e.g., only new arrivals).

Creating a Selection

  1. Navigate to Selection & Markup > Product Selections.
  2. Click the Create Selection button.
  3. Give your selection a descriptive name (e.g., "High Stock Electronics").
  4. Click Create to enter the selection builder.

Available Filters

You can combine multiple conditions to refine your selection:

Filter TypeDescription
Minimum/Maximum PriceFilter by the product's current sales price.
Stock QuantityOnly include products with a minimum amount of stock across all locations.
Stock at LocationTarget stock levels at a specific warehouse or store.
Category ExcludePrevent specific categories from being included.
Product ConditionFilter by "Only New" or "Only Used" items.
Minimum ImagesEnsure only products with high-quality data (e.g., at least 3 images) are exported.
Age (Days Old)Target new arrivals or older stock based on when they were first imported.
Minimum MarginOnly export products that meet your profitability requirements.
