StoreLinkr AI Assistant
The AI Assistant is a chat-based helper built into every StoreLinkr account. Unlike the AI Agent used for generating product content, the AI Assistant works out of the box — there's nothing to enable and no API key to configure.
Use it to quickly look up stock, orders and product data, diagnose why something isn't working, or find the right help article, all without leaving the page you're on.
Opening the AI Assistant
- Look for AI Assistant under the Support heading at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar (robot icon).
- Type your question and press Enter, or click the send button.
- The Assistant always replies in your account's configured language, even if you type your question in a different one.
- Click the reset icon in the top-right of the chat window to clear the conversation and start fresh.
What you can ask it
Stock and products
- Look up the current stock of a product by EAN or SKU, broken down per stock location.
- Search for products by name, brand or keyword when you don't have an exact EAN or SKU handy.
- List products at or below a stock threshold, e.g. "which products have 5 or fewer left in stock?"
- Get a site-wide overview of data quality issues — missing brand, invalid EAN, no stock, missing description — and how many products are affected.
- Diagnose why a specific product isn't visible on your website (export filters, selection rules, sync status, data quality).
- List stored images for a product, including stale or orphaned images left behind by a supplier feed that stopped supplying the product.
- Check when a product was last imported, or when and where it was last exported.
Orders
- Look up an order by its order number to see its status, fulfillment status, shipping/tracking info and line items.
- List your most recent orders, e.g. "what was my last order?"
Integrations
- List your configured integration tasks (imports and exports to marketplaces, webshops, WMS, etc.) and their enabled/disabled state.
- Test whether a configured integration's connection is still working — it never exposes credentials, only whether the test succeeded.
Marketplaces
- Surface configuration issues across your connected marketplaces (Bol, Allegro, Kaufland, eBay, Books in Belgium), such as unmapped categories or missing shipping, payment or return policy settings — the same issues shown as alerts on your dashboard.
Help
- Search the StoreLinkr help center for articles on setting up integrations, configuring features, or troubleshooting problems, and link you straight to them.
- If it can't find a confident answer, it will say so and point you to the help center instead of guessing.
Taking action: re-exporting a product
Most of what the Assistant does is read-only — it looks things up and explains what it finds. There's one exception: it can trigger a re-export (push) of a single product to all its connected sales channels, for example after you've asked it to diagnose a visibility problem.
Because this is a real, visible action, the Assistant always asks for confirmation first. It will describe exactly what it's about to do and wait for you to click Confirm or Cancel before doing anything.
Outside of this, the Assistant cannot create, edit or delete products, orders, prices or settings, and it never returns API keys or other credentials — even when asked about a connected integration.
Example questions to try
- "What is the stock of EAN 1234567890123?"
- "Why is my product not visible on the website?"
- "Search products with 'bike bell'"
- "What was my last order?"
- "Are there any marketplace issues I should fix?"
- "Is my Bol connection still working?"
AI Assistant vs. the AI Agent
StoreLinkr has two distinct AI features — it helps to know which one to reach for:
| AI Assistant | AI Agent | |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Answer questions about your data, diagnose issues, find help articles | Generate product descriptions, SEO titles, translations |
| Where to find it | Support section in the sidebar | Settings > AI and the PIM editor |
| Setup required | None — works immediately | Requires your own API key, see How to configure AI settings |
