How to use the Danger Zone
The Danger Zone contains powerful tools that allow you to reset specific parts of your StoreLinkr project. These actions are typically used when you're making major changes to your store structure or starting fresh with a new integration.
Handle with Care! Most actions in this section are permanent and cannot be undone. Always read the descriptions carefully before executing a reset.
Accessing the Tools
Navigate to Settings > Danger Zone. To prevent accidental changes, you must first toggle the Accept Risk switch to "Yes".
Available Reset Actions
Reset Product Sync Data
Clears the internal tracking of when products were last synchronized. This will cause StoreLinkr to re-evaluate and potentially re-export your entire catalog during the next task run.
Reset Remote IDs (Export Reset)
StoreLinkr tracks products on your sales channels using "Remote IDs". Resetting these will break the link between StoreLinkr and your external products.
- Use Case: Use this if you have manually deleted products in your store and want StoreLinkr to recreate them.
Reset Exported Remote Image Data
Clears the log of which images have been uploaded to your sales channels. This forces StoreLinkr to re-upload all product images.
Delete Product Snapshot Cache
StoreLinkr saves "snapshots" of your product data to speed up performance. Deleting this cache forces the system to rebuild your product views from scratch using the latest database data.
Reset Custom Sales Prices
If you have manually overridden prices for specific products, this action will wipe those custom values and revert all items to their calculated/imported sales prices.
