Local retail businesses using POS systems like CycleSoftware or Wilmar often struggle to keep their physical and online inventory in sync.

The Challenge​

When a bike or part is sold in the physical shop, it needs to be immediately removed from the WooCommerce site to prevent overselling. Product descriptions in the POS are often too technical for web customers.

  2. PIM Enrichment: Instead of just syncing the POS data, the user utilizes StoreLinkr as a PIM to rewrite technical descriptions and upload professional lifestyle photos.
  3. Variant Building: StoreLinkr's Variant Builder automatically groups items (e.g., the same bike frame in different sizes) based on POS data, creating a clean WooCommerce experience.
  4. Order Routing: When a WooCommerce order is placed, StoreLinkr syncs the sale back to the POS, allowing the physical shop to fulfill the order and deduct the stock.
